It's been a little while blog but I'm back, and with content. I just got back from some time spent with my family. I said in a post earlier that I need to learn how to work at "home home" but lesson still remains elusive. I did however manage to get some drawing done while I was in Italy. Here are some of the fruits: The little bustling alley ways in Sorrento's centre were a really enjoyable experience and I loved how the shop owners make the absolute most out of the small spaces they own. All of their products are just piling out onto the tiny street outside. One shop really captured this so I drew it. After I drew the rough image on the left I wanted to illustrate it in my style so I took a double page and worked from the rough and using memory to fill in the blanks. The street looks quite quiet in the drawings but I've left out all the people. I just wanted to get the background. I'm currently adding colour to the final illustration so hopefully we'll see that up here soon.
